No one actually thought they called radio stations and begged them to stop playing ROM. From now on when people say removed everyone should know that's what it means. Mr S 7,641 Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Also "pulled from radio" is a phrase used throughout chart discussions not just here but on twitter, Pulse Board, etc. It never meant the song was banned, it just meant the labels efforts on the song were pulled. The song has however been churning away on HAC with OK callouts, with its burnout going down slightly - but thats a different format. that could help POP warm up again perahps? If 911 is the actual official single it would make sense they'd at least send it to radio. it may be that they are doing a MR/JW situation, where they're currently deciding to just promote 911 to help the album oberall, as its a track performing well vs making 911 the single with a radio deal.
