"I Do" is probably my favorite track. "Money" MV has great visuals. And as a feature I like "Clout".

Is anyone listening to Cardi for the rap tho???

Like she ain't that good, but we like her bc she's real. she gives that el barrio homegirl will drink straight bacardi and punch someone at the party vibes, and she capitalized on that. Is she a musical genius? nah but she has fun persona, an instantly recognizable aesthetic, and cute songs that smash when youre drunk.

I don’t really classify Cardi B as a rapper. Same as how I feel about Drake.

Cardi B is not a bop. Cardi B's, however, is.

Also, why do you still stan for pedo enabler? That's a choice. :billie:

I mean... on the one hand my instinct is to say tea tho, esp about Drake

But on the other hand, I feel like I dont wanna get into the space where we are limiting what rap is and isnt or who is rap and who isnt rap, cause that feels a little like policing art. I'll also say that I hear that a lot applied to women rappers (I mean there's to this day still a debate on if Lauryn Hill is hip hop or not, which :messga: ) so I'm torn.

I understand what you mean. I consider myself a hip hop/rap fan more than anyone here. So many people and other fanbase honestly don’t view Cardi as an actual rapper, she’s more so an entertainer.

Lauryn Hill is 100% a rapper though.

If you can understand Cardi B when she speaks then maybe she could be a bop - but :fatcat:

"Flexin' on the 'gram like aye"
“Eeeeooowwww”

“Regular degular shmegular”
