10. Alright - 7.76

Highest Score:  10 @GaGaLB @culturalbaptism

Lowest Score: 5 @Judas Society

Comments:

@Blown Away This song is great and funky, but the length sort of kills it. If it were 2 minutes shorter it would've been a highlight of the album. Now it's among the filler tracks.

@Lionel Ronaldo It's a fun song, nice beat, nice melody.

@culturalbaptism And then she brings the bops back. I always imagine her smile while listening to this track.

@ShtoopidLahv To me the weakest dance track on the album. It’s chorus is a little bit of a let down and the beat is a little bit redundant. Filler (but still a good song which is a testament to how great this album is) and surprised that it did well as a single.

@Judas Society Purely basing my rate as a song in an album. The percussion beats is too similar to the other songs that I kinda feel bored. As a song by itself, it's great if it happens to play on shuffle. It's a tad bit long without much variation.

9. The Knowledge - 8.36

Highest Score:  10  @culturalbaptism

Lowest Score: 6 @Blown Away

Comments:

@Blown Away This song is among the weakest. The vocals are too inaudible at parts, the instrumental seems to be the only reason this song exists. Although some lyrics are very powerful. 'Prejudice. No! Ignorance. No! Bigotry. No! Illiteracy No!' SAY IT JANET. PERIOD!

@Lionel Ronaldo This sound, this beat is so catchy. I really like her voice here, that soft/low sound of her voice during the verses fits the sound. it also makes me think of 'Blood on the dancefloor' by her brother somehow

@culturalbaptism This is not only a political track, it's a ****ing bop.

@ShtoopidLahv The message is great and the lyrics are a little too obvious in some parts but it is another powerful and very relevant point she made. The bridge and breakdown is epic, such a good beat.

@Judas Society We do love a bit of sing-talk action. This track surprised me how much I love it even though the singing is scarce. It's a perfect blend of instruments, singing and narration.

8. State of the World - 8.56

Highest Score:  10 @GaGaLB @culturalbaptism @ShtoopidLahv

Lowest Score: 7 @BadGurlMadge

@Blown Away Another banger with an important message. The production is fire and the vocals once again are very fitting for the song. The transition from the TV interlude into this song is great too.

@Lionel Ronaldo I really like the instrumental and the melody of this song, especially the chorus. It's a nice sound to listen to and I like her voice here.

@BadGurlMadge She’s cute not the best

@ShtoopidLahv Again, woke lyrics that are sadly still valid for nowadays.

@Judas Society This song is so relevant today. really Catchy production with an infectious beat which is so at odds with what she’s singing about. I like the choice to make the lyrics so descriptive about really unfortunate circumstances. “Instead of suicide, he cries himself to sleep.” Like damn...

7. Come Back to Me - 8.59

Highest Score: 10 @Cupid Boy @Blown Away @GaGaLB @culturalbaptism @Sexxx

Lowest Score: 4.08 @BadGurlMadge

@Blown AwayOne of Janet's best ballads. I always put the song on when I'm reading a sad story, it's such a heartbreaking song. Vocally the song is fantastic too.

@Lionel Ronaldo I really love her voice is, it sounds beautiful.

@culturalbaptism Aw, this track is nice. Her vocals are amazing here.

@ShtoopidLahv Classic RnB ballad. Love the synths and strings and the synthesized background vocals in the chorus are great.

@Judas SocietySongs like these are sorta lost these days in mainstream music. Just perfectly melancholy in a relatable way. Something you just imagine yourself listening to it while sitting by the window longing for something.
