Why Jewels N' Drugs is so hated?

I like to know too? :triggered:

Mainly because it’s a pop-trap song with rappers. I will NEVER understand why users hate anything that’s R&B, trap, or hip hop but praise EDM. :yennefer:

EDM is amazing, its my birth place :vegas:  especially 90s house. But I do agree... some users have an immediate dislike towards anything thats pop-trap, or trap-rap, or trap-hip hop. JND is a bop, and one of the very underrated gems from ARTPOP.

Maybe its too complex for people to get :billie:  they dislike JND but stan songs like Gypsy and Dope :billie:

No taste.

And because basic pop stans hate rap/hip hop for many reasons, but it's honestly much deeper and complex than pop music in many cases.

The direction? With or without JnD the album still would’ve been fine. Remember the initial tracklist was gonna have TEA, Temple, Nothing On, Brooklyn Nights, DWUW (solo), etc.

Imagine if ARTPOP had Nothing on and Brooklyn Nights on its standard version... Interscope needs some taste injection :selena:

I’m very versatile in music and can say EDM is the least respected genre in pop and music in general. I like EDM and thanks to Gaga for helping me like the genre more. But I don’t understand the hype for EDM or how fans here praise it.

I think ARTPOP stans are kinda hypocritical too. I been to 2 artRAVE shows and both crowds didn’t move to JnD but was excited for Partynauseous (another pop trap song). :flop:

Unpopular opinion but J&D would be much better without Gaga :haroon:

The song is just too messy, the instrumental is crazy but then it's just a big salad of features..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Oh I agree, I looove ARTPOP but I think Interscope was worried it wasn't commercial enough. I mean we know they fought about it. J&D feels like something they wanted imo

Really? I think JnD was more of a Gaga decision than Interscope. I believe her label would of wanted to push something like Nothing On more.

I think every time Gaga wants to work with the black community, her fanbase is so opinionated she ends up paying dust to those songs. :(

I agree. Like how was Donatella given a pass but not Nothing On or Brooklyn Nights? For those to be unreleased tracks they are better than some of the studio album tracks.

Now that I think of it... It's true that her voice is kinda useless on this track, it would have been great if there were actual VOCALS you know

Also it's true that there's too many features and they seem to be a battle between them knowing that Twista was the best so they put him in the last verse. Just like we didn't want Gaga and Ari to do a vocal battle (thank God they didn't)

Probably too EDM for them honnestly since it was fading away as a trend

They literally wanted Robin Chicke (is that his name?) on SD

Robin Thicke.
