socotra 3,295 Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 i personally love the song but i totally get the critique that a.) it sounds like a parody and b.) the lyrics are messy ARTPOP's bombast and over-the-top chaos is part of the appeal for me tho, i feel like it's a super idgaf album, so lyrics that might normally be cringe have never bothered me because the song is just fun. that being said, i think she can pull off this style better (like, a fully mastered partynauseous would've been much better) it sounds more like she's a feature on her own song (similar to Sour Candy imo) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
