Thank you for this. I was wondering what the back story was.  No she didn't have a right to pull a gun on someone, but the other women can be seen pushing her too (before the gun was pulled out). Again not excusing that at all. It all just makes me very sad for our country.

The situation was blown out of proportion but still don’t see how the gun was necessary:ohwell:

Pulling out the gun was very unnecessary.

It's just worth watching the entire video, rather then the selectively edited one that is making the rounds on social media and being shared here by the OP, so that you have a less manipulated understanding of what happened.

I hear your point but even the extended video still doesn’t show what the incited the entire situation. As stated by many she bumped into the woman’s teenage daughter. What her intention/reason to do so was we still don’t know nor can we judge by the videos being circulated. The fact that they were charged with felonies makes me believe that maybe there was more to this situation.

I watched the video and the white woman repeatedly said "no one is racist" and "white people aren't racist". Her behaviour is not excusable or understandable.

Hearing the woman calmly say, “I care about you. I care about you. I’m sorry if you had an incident that made you feel like this,”  muddles the the OP’s Karen’s Gone Wild narrative which is sweeping social media. On the other hand, the woman clearly escalated the situation to a ridiculous degree when she pulled out a gun.

So the point remains, if you are interested in truthfully understanding this incident it’s worth watching/sharing the longer video, as opposed to the short version.

Whatever conclusions you draw after watching both videos is up to you.

Still shouldn't have pulled a gun out in the first place

No you’re right it was unnecessary to pull out the gun, however, the women taking the video were also antagonizing her and the woman was seen trying to apologize. I did not think this had anything to do with race.  My view is both sides blew it out of proportion when it didn’t need to be.

The video is a little out of context and race-baited.

But anyway, everyone involved is just so damn annoying, and just proof Americans will never change as long as everyone and their mother can hold a gun.

Mr S

The video is definitely out of context. The full video paints a different picture. However, no matter how long the video was, the gun was not necessary. I'm glad it wasn't actually used.

um... yeah, the full video is important. These people were berating this woman & wouldn’t let her leave because she bumped into a 15 year old girl & didn’t apologize? & then filmed it & blew it out of proportion so they could post it & become famous for being “attacked” by a Karen. They baited her into it. No she shouldn’t have pulled a gun but these people are in n the wrong for what they did.
