Because Shane had a massive following and the demographic probably fit well. And I think they did that first series together before they started the collaboration, so they had a lot of information to go off of.

Well Shane made a documentary that completely cleansed Jeffree’s image. So there’s a reason why they were close and even collaborated, Jeffree used him.

Shane Dawsone’s whole outrage story is ridiculous tbh. He was always telling these jokes and publicly so and it’s like he became the 3rd or 10th most subscribed person or something like that once and no one cared and today people suddenly and out of nowhere decided that there should be “consequences” for that, as if it was some hidden secret that just broke out in a scandal. Shane Dawson’s is an idiot but outrage culture is a cancer in the form of first world problems and privilege.
