katy perry though. I bet it will be a rapper album in that place, like Eminem or Jay-Z, or whoever gets successful next year (Azealia, please).

They try to make it seem like Katy deserves AOTY but that's viable as well hahaha basically 2/5 chances of gaga winning :P.

I mean that it's no different to a rerelease in that there are 2 collections of music under the same era and in a relative short time. Like tf & tfm.

TF and TFM are years apart in release, plus there was a good time period between the release of the singles. If she were to part out two seperate albums she would have to do two seperate sets of promotion, and there would be a confliction with sales, which isn't the case with a re-release because it has ties to the original album, and just basically lets someone release new singles without doing a new album while boosting the sales of the original album. Bottom line is a re-release is a win where two seperate albums in a year can be commercial risky, plus tiring.

Actually The Fame was released August 19, 2008 and The Fame Monster was released November 18, 2009. That's ONE year apart.

Releasing two albums in the same year is danagerous for sales, not that that's all that matter, but lets be honest it's still important. If she does a double disc CD like I Am...

Sasha Fierce or Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (which is a better example) she can still express the same idea without the commerical risk.

This!

omg "one of the songs will have a hiphop/jpop/pop feel" OMG thats partynauseous!!! it will be used for gagas album instead then! those are the exact genres gaga used to describe p.n in the first place when she announced it.

It would be a dream come true for me as a fan of Porter Robinson if he produced some songs for ARTPOP

I would die, a track like language with Gaga's vocals would slaaaaay.
