Gaga and Fernando Garibay

Butters Stotch

Hello, everyone. So, I was listening to my favorite Gaga song, Dance in the Dark  and started wondering what has Fernando Garibay up to this years, since he didn't work with Gaga anymore after Born This Way (correct me if I'm wrong). Does anyone know if there's any information about why they never worked together again? Are they on good terms?

I don't think he's the one refusing to work with her, pretty sure it's the other way around :vegas:

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

Do you think she's "over him"? Like she feels she's worked enough with him? Or do you mean she's the one refusing to work with him for a different reason? Spill the tea :coffee:

He's production with her was outdated already

He's good for a throwback

Keep him in Gaga's basement along with RedOne we onto new stuff :vegas:

I think they ended up in bad terms but I might be wrong. I’m not sure if DJWS once said that Fernando wanted more credit on certain song from BTW when it was mostly Gaga and DJWS but I don’t really remember.

He is sitting next to RedOne and DJWS waiting to be seated at Gaga's table again... :fatcat:

Although I do remember there being beef with DJWS/Fernando for credits on Bloody Mary and maybe even other songs...

He worked with Kylie Minogue on an EP whose entire aesthetic was like a classy sex tape.

He worked on PARTYNAUSEOUS which turned into Sia's Hologram.

Maybe she will get back to him in LG7, who knows? I'd be here for another HML or Bloody Mary :vegas:

Reject False Icons

I heard here that he talked badly about Gaga :enigma: hmm just rumors I guess

at least he did an EP with Kylie minogue, I haven’t listened to it yet cause I’m lazy :ladyhaha: but i guess it’s good. I like his productions

I don’t believe a single story that’s been said about their relationship, since y’all love to make up false sh*t.

As far as I know, it just seems like Gaga wants a completely different direction. She doesn’t work with Redone anymore, or DJWS or Garibay. It seems like she just moves on after a while. For all we know, they probably have a decent relationship behind closed doors.

I think Gaga has a working perspective, and is that she doesn't force any of the collaborations with other artists. She just lets herself try and explore different sounds and work with different people until she finds exactly what she's looking for.

It's interesting how from the Fame/TFM, she started to work with RedOne and Garibay, and then in BTW. That got her to work with DJWS and tour with Zedd and Madeon, with whom she worked on ARTPOP. She had already met Mark Ronson and she chose to work with him on Joanne. And after working with Bloodpop, she made Chromatica with him and plenty of other people.

So it's a very open process and maybe she'll eventually work with them in the future.

It seems like she just likes working with different people for each album to bring new perspectives and sounds, which is understandable. She may never work with Mark Ronson or BloodPop again, as far as we know. Who knows, really.

I think it's fair to assume that someone from Chromatica other than BloodPop might executive produce her next album, unless she's going for a completely different sound. Personally, I'd love her to make some more songs with Ryan Tedder.
