"Rain On Me, Tsunami"...huh?

Tsunamis are giant waves caused typically by earth quakes. They don't have rain.

Am I missing something?

it’s a metaphor i suppose. the song isn’t necessarily just “rain”, she also references not being dry.

As much rain as a tsunami I guess? It works well despite not being about rain itself

A vast amount of water/pain/tears/fears

it’s a metaphor for the downpour and how she’s ready for it all. 🙌🏻🌊

I like this a little too much.

on a slightly related note I’ve always thought it sounds like “Rain on me, soon on me” a little bit?
