The lyrics "my name isn't Alice" is an epic and smart introduction because she's insinuating "you know who I am, I'm Lady Gaga and I'm back". The lyric "I'll keep looking for Wonderland" could signify "I'm still freaky and weird". It's uptempo but in the minor key and with dark lyrics It's got the iconic Gaga "chants"/repetitions "ah ah ah oh" "oh ma ma ma" oh my mother" It's got the iconic robotic Gaga bridge Need I say more ?? Alice is more complex and imo has more complex instrumental structures with I enjoy tremendously. Free Woman carries a kind of lightness that I love about the song, goes for vocal delivery and the instrumental. 'Free Woman' would be the safest choice commercially.
