Regina George 59,387
Amm no one should talk about someone's body. Everyone prefers different things and if Kim likes her body like that than why the hell does she think she has a say in it? She doesn't. Just like we like curvy girls, skinny girls, etc... We like Kim K and her preferred body type.
Guest
Shes still saying the same thing though, she just twister her criticism and being passive aggressive. Shes still criticizing Kim but now sees Kim as a deluded victim of society.
audrey horne 1,180
She’s not slamming Kim for her body, she’s not even slamming her at all in this post. She’s only empathizing for the trauma Kim has gone through, which has lead her to work on an unrealistic "ideal" body for herself that she unfortunatly shares via social medias with her young and impressionable audience. That same audience now believes that looking the way she does is "goals" and thinks it can be achievable, when really it's not. PopCrave putting women against each other for drama as usual, when the keyword of the whole rant was "patriarchy".
Dramatica 13,690
There's a thin line between promoting body positivity, and dissing others for what they do with their body. And it seems like Jameela Jamil crossed it. Okay, but let's not diss Jameela in return, that's just as wrongful as what she did in the first place I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time. Guest
"My work is done" Listen, I personally am not a fan of fake ass, I'm not a fan of fake tanning, I'm not a fan of fake lips, of a too narrow nose, I'm not the type to take nudes, to show my body, I'm not the type to do ****, or have a sex tape. But these things are life choices, therefore personal choices, because all of our bodies belong to us, and we choose what we wanna do with it, if we wanna show it, or if we don't. To harass someone for making choices on themselves and how they wanna live their lives, is beyond insanity & borderline psychotic. So congratulation for deciding to stop doing it Jameela, so "woke"

Kim K started doing her butt in the era where blondes, tall and skinny girls with no butt was popular. Something tells me Kim K enjoys this kind of body and didn't feel pressure to fit in a "body ideal" since the body she transformed into was not popular in her era. Maybe people should relax and realize that some people wanna transform themselves and look good for themselves not others. Not everyone is insecure in this world. Just bcs Im a woman for example, won't mean when I see Kim K i think 'wow i could never look like that', I never look up to Kim K, i know many of my friends or sisters don't look up to that body, we all have our own preferences. Some are very insecure and that's more important with YOUNG girls, their minds are not formed yet. Would Jameela say Dita Von Teese has went thru trauma bcs she decides to look like the perfect 1950s pin up girl wearing corsets and high heels? Dita enjoys that look. Sometimes I enjoy wearing a tight dress and push up bra, does that mean I hate my body and went thru trauma bcs I want an unrealistic ideal body for myself and I'm very very insecure about it. If I contour myself drastically and take selfies of myself, does that mean I try so hard to fit in the western beauty ideal? Brecht 7
I see some people on this thread didn’t even read what she had to say. She’s completely right.
matteonster 504
I think what she’s doing is really important. She’s not attacking people for what type of bodies they have, she’s just calling out when a famous person is selling weight loss products which are not healthy in any ways. People who are influenced by these celebrities don’t necessarily check what impact that given product might have on their bodies, they just simply buy it. And I agree that as someone who has a huge following, Kim has the responsibility of what she’s promoting to her followers. With Jameela’s iweigh campaign, she’s celebrating all types or bodies, it’s really inclusive. You should look it up before calling her out and calling her trash. “Don't you ever let a soul in the world tell you that you can't be exactly who you are.”

What’s wrong with women being obsessed with their body? Who the **** are you to tell a woman what she should and shouldn’t do? Should I call you sexist like you called me racist based on this? Just stop telling people what they should do and if you have a problem with me PM me.

But what’s wrong with wanting to lose a weight? I have weight issues and I have to watch what I eat all the time and trust me. Promoting healthy lifestyle is much more important than promoting and normalizing unhealthy lifestyle at least for me. Believe it or not but there are actually people in the world that want to lose their weight and to look healthy - promoting ways to achieve this is not problematic and it is okay. Believe it or not but there are actually people in the world that want to lose their weight and to look healthy - promoting ways to achieve this is not problematic and it is okay. I don’t see an issue either with promoting healthy lifestyle in general but most quick weight loss products are damaging to your body - including the ones that Kim promoted and that is why Jameela called her out. I also feel like there is a difference between highlighting the importance of health and selling quick ways to weight loss. Mostly because your weight doesn’t necessarily define your health but also it has a mental health aspect to it as well. I don’t think it’s about normalizing unhealthy lifestyle, it just tries to highlight in a very shallow world that having a fully slim muscle body does not equal to health and happiness and that all body types deserve to be shown, celebrated whether it’s curvey or skinny or anything else. “Don't you ever let a soul in the world tell you that you can't be exactly who you are.”
