Trump, Biden Win KY Primaries

Joe Biden and Donald Trump easily won their respective primaries in Kentucky on Tuesday. The AP has called the Democratic primary for Biden with about 50% of the vote in, and the Republican primary for Trump with the same amount of ballots counted. Each is already considered the presumptive nominee for their party.

Elsewhere, Amy McGrath and Charles Booker are still battling for the right to take on Sen. Mitch McConnell, who cruised to a victory against assorted challengers in his primary. No final results are expected in the McGrath/Booker race tonight, but for what it's worth she's leading him by about 10 points- but there's tons of votes outstanding

IMO the best way to gauge who will win the election is comparing how many ppl turned out to vote for each party in each state.

I'am NOT writing Booker off unlike the nay-sayers on Twitter.  His hometown isn't even in yet!  #911ThirdSingle

Note this is 50% of prescients reporting and NOT 50% of votes.  I think ~10% of expected votes are already counted. Plus, Lexington and Louisville haven't reported yet

Kentucky is very well still voting bloody mary red. lol

Even if you add Bernie’s votes, it’s nowhere near what Trump has

When Lexington comes in, Booker should close the gap a bit. He’s very popular there as a State Rep and urban centers skew more liberal. With that said, it remains an uphill battle for him and I expect that when it’s all said and done McGrath will be the nominee; the question will be by how much (I think about 4%, I had the final vote pegged for 48%-44% but other candidates have thus far outperformed my expectations)
