Everyone will be successful in the future and have a humorous character,  but you won't be like that since you are gay, I guarantee.

There's tons of LGBTQ people that are more successful than that guy will ever be in his lifetime.

There are crazy kpop stans that are ... well they believe their favs are perfect angels and will do everything they possibly can to 'protect' them.

Then you have the flip side to that with the extreme haters that go to crazy lengths to fabricate bad things to take down idols.

I'm not a fan of NCT so I don't really know much about them, but TaeYong has had issues before with things he did in his school days and has admitted to, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Did he lie though? I mean despite how much Kpop trying to persuade us that they’re getting cool with homosexuality, being gay is in fact the biggest obstacle for you to be successful as an artist there. Hence instead of bashing him, why don’t y’all prove him wrong and support lgbtq artist there like Holland

Please ignore the spelling in username. I am a Beyonce stan afterall.

why would he say that. he always get accused of so much scheisse. from the beginning of his career, K-Netitz (I think I spelled that right) have made hard damaging rumours about him. It's disgusting.

This is old news. Apparently he was 'joking' about a friend of his (still homophobic to suggest you can't he successful if you are gay). That said, he's definitely apologized several times for all the **** he's done in the past and he was a kid so I don't really mind. We all do stupid **** we regret later. I don't expect them to be angels. It's still funny however because one of his relatives is a very famous openly gay celebrity in South Korea.

Just stop. I was obviously talking about LGBTQ celebs worldwide, not just Korea. My point is, what he said about not being successful just because one is gay is simply not true.

Hong Suk Chun is a relatively popular celebrity I think though he isn't a K-Pop idol. Ironically enough, he is also related to Taeyong shshshsj

saying 'x is gay' is a common thing that teenagers do around the world. as a kid, i've heard plenty of people saying 'that's gay' in reference to something without actually referencing homosexuality. it doesn't make it homophobic, it's just a careless use of a sensitive word, just like the thousands of people across the world. he's apologised for it. plenty of people don't.

is it wrong? yes. was there homophobic intentions behind it? probably not.

plus, there's a LOT of evidence that this was forged/based on a lie/misunderstanding. i also recall that the person who he called 'gay', was friends with him, so it could've easily been based on an inside joke.
