Bad Romance. I think that song and video is what really solidified her as a pop icon, major competition, and someone who was here to stay.

In my opinion purely from a commercial standpoint... Sales, airplay etc it may have been Poker Face (especially in North America)

If you factor in impact, longevity and signature hit that is remembered as well, it might actually be between Bad Romance or Shallow

I'm unsure myself so I didn't vote on my own poll

Shallow will still be winning awards and performed on The Voice in 2040, so that.

I have a feeling that 15+ years from now, BR and Shallow will be the ones hailed as the greatest of her career. I have a feeling BR will win by an inch, though. Like, Rolling Stone is gonna do a seventh update of their 500 greatest songs of all time sometime in 2036 and both songs will be listed, but BR I think in a slightly higher position (number One? :messga: jk but I can see it in the top 100 for sure).

I remember being obsessed with Gaga during the Just Dance era, and alot of songs from the fame album were available on youtube. I was very dissapointed when I heard Poker Face and I still dont like the song. But honestly its her most popular and loved song.

I definitely see it being the most likely to be remembered as a classic for a very long time.

If we go by which one leaves the biggest permanent mark. Yeah I agree it's shallow

Tho I'm also talking about commercial success as well into the equation. And factoring everything I find it hard to choose :oprah:

They’re all huge staples, but Bad Romance is the song that comes to mind when someone thinks of Gaga.

Bad Romance sums up everything Gaga is.

She does pop, she does it insanely good, she loves symbolic lyrics, she loves controversial imagery, she dances her ass off, she has killer vocals, she has INSANE choruses & eccentric bridges. She is a fashion girl, she is all about love.

Bad Romance (song & mv) has everything that is Gaga.

All we need is love

Poker Face solidified her career as a pop star.

Bad Romance, however, propelled her to international superstar status.

Shallow gave her an Oscar and many other awards, and through it she proved once more that she's that bitch. But everyone already kinda knew who Gaga was, and that's because of Bad Romance.
