Economy 49,859 Posted June 20, 2020 Share Posted June 20, 2020 Her extremely high peak from late 2008 to early 2011 may not have been very long lasting less than 3 years but I think of all the peaks of the artists since 2000, it's probably the highest Gaga during her peak was literally: #1. The artist with the most hits one after the other. She had 11 hits in a row from Just Dance to You And I (with the exception of Judas and You and I which were more moderate hits, the other 9 were big hits) without any flops in between #2 She was the biggest streamed artist by those days standards. She had the most viewed account on YouTube for example and her video Bad Romance was also the #1 video on YouTube for a while #3 she was the biggest on social media. For example she was #1 on twitter followers #4 she was selling the most albums at the time of her peak #5 she was sweeping all the award shows especially the ones where the public voted. For stuff like VMAs, EMAs or MMVAs bitch was always winning #6 excluding huge legends like U2, Gaga had the biggest tours. No other new artist was having tours with the kind of success of TFM Ball #7 She was definitely the biggest in media attention, discussion and controversy etc. She was literally everywhere Other artists in their peaks have been the biggest artists in one aspect or another. Katy Perry at her peak had the most hits, Adele in her prime moments sold the most albums and most awards, Drake the most streams, Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran biggest tours etc. But no artist besides Gaga has managed to be the biggest in every single category simultaneously like Gaga did during her peak!!! She was a SUPER MEGA STAR that was everywhere. Her peak didn't last quite as long as some other artists (like Katy Perry for example). It was barely 2.5 years maybe 3 at the most.
