I get that some people need a sequel after the first one but no one asks for this.

Nobody ask for this tho. The story pretty much concluded on the last one, despite being not necessary either?

Is it going to be about Cher's character? Cos she was the only interesting ones left. :billie:

they better revive donna or just flat out ignore that she died. jk lmao

i liked 2 and i really loved lily james (i thought she was really amazing) so if there's a 3, if they can't get meryl back i hope they at least get lily. i think 2 really suffered from a grimness when they decided to open with donna's death, it was just tonally hard to digest, especially in such a bright and supposedly happy movie. so with this one, we already have donna's death out of the way so hopefully the film's tone as a jukebox musical won't suffer as it did with 2.

also, donna as a young woman and turning into a mother juxtaposed against sophie herself becoming a mother was really amazing in 2, and actually was so touching when donna held sophie for the first time. seyfried and james really brought it.

i'm hopeful, lowkey excited, but also a tad, tiny, tiny almost negligible bit worried

TBH there are plenty more ABBA songs that need some love (looking @ u "Head Over Heels")

There will be helpless romantic character called Carrie who sings "That's Me". BOOKMARK ME.
