Yeah the thing I like about kpop is that constant performances are always guaranteed. Basically the main form of promo are music shows, which happen 6 times per week on different TV stations, and most artists go to all of them.

You know that SME is linked with gangster right? And that they will order TV and radio stations that allied with them to block their ex artists who wanted to promote their work after they left SME??

Also, only after 2009 would they reform how they paid their artists and how to schedule their artists activities after DBSK/TVXQ took them  to court, on the grounds that their 13-year-contract was too long, too restrictive, and gave them almost none of the profits from their success.

The court came down on their side, and the ruling prompted the Fair Trade Commission to issue a "model contract" to try to improve the deal artists got from their management companies.

Before this, they treated their artist like animal. No much of break and paid lowly. No transparency. Which cause one member of Super Junior, Hang Geng to leave in the first place.

Yeah, but YG is worst. they made 2NE1 disband after a member had a scandal, A member from the group iKON left because of a drug scandal (Which the member was INNOCENT), while he protected a member from BIGBANG (another Kpop group) from a scandal involving his sexual exploitation, and they don't know how to promote their artists (Mostly BLACKPINK). the man who used to owns the company (long story) made a girl group disband because he was in love with one of the members...there's tons of more stuff about YG but I can't explain it all

Both YG and SM have their own problem.

One thing YG> SM is their groups can produce/write songs but the shortfall is it takes forever for them to release

When it comes to Blackpink, it is the same as Gaga, i.e. limited promo.

Blackpink only goes on two music shows out of six.

They didn’t post the Jisoo photo in Instagram. How concerning and sad for the fans. How crazy is that they do that? Reveal the four photos but then only post three and exclude Jisoo like they do in other things? It’s really WTF
