No Chromatica is not what was once described as "ARTPOP's little sister" DJWS has like no part in the album unlike his influences and production on ARTPOP. There is no comparison to be made in that aspect. Chromatica can be boiled down to mostly house while ARTPOP can be boiled down to mostly EDM. Whereas The Fame took underground club/dance/electronic and put the Gaga spin on them, Chromatica seems like more of a replication/homage to a bunch of the styles that influenced her debut. LittleMonsterNIr 58 Posted June 17, 2020 Share Posted June 17, 2020 as much as I love ARTPOP, Chromatica made me emotional like no other Gaga album before. yes, BTW is legendary and it will always have a big place in my heart. it helped me get through the hardest and most darkest moments in my life. however, I grew up since then. Chromatica is a more mature album. ARTPOP was all about art, which I'm really into it, but it didn't got me excited as Chromatica did.... Chromatica is playing with my emotions- when I should be happy I'm sad, and when I should be sad I'm happy... NO OTHER ALBUM IN HISTORY MADE ME FEEL LIKE THAT. when I was paying attention to the lyrics I could really see myself. I don't know how she do that, but Chromatica is definitely my favorite album. Chromatica is like the charming sister which configured out her way and understands that she is interesting when she is just herself and ARTPOP like the sister which is also very talented but she believes not so much in her own power and that's why she chills with indie people.
