witchcocktor 1,438 Posted June 29, 2020 Share Posted June 29, 2020 It's kind of irritating that Gaga thinks it's best if she lays low while COVID and protests are happening, meanwhile a lot of us would like to '' lay low '' and not do anything, stay home, eat pizza and drink starbucks, but we still gotta go to work no matter what's happening in the world and how bad we feel, but she thinks anyone is gaining anything from her not doing her JOB as a POP ARTIST. You not doing your JOB ain't helping ANYONE. I'm sure there's something happening that we don't know of, but you'd think she'd have the time to post content she has already filmed for instance. Otherwise, she can stop taking our investments any time. We all realize that people on this forum most likely faced much more consequential challenges as a result of CV-19 than Gaga, right? The person you're attacking for wanting a pre-recorded performance of their fav song is much more likely to have had their job put in jeopardy during this than Gaga. Get some perspective. The price of an album + merch + tour ticket impact 99% of our incomes much more than hosting a listening party would inconvenience a millionaire. Most bluntly, fans made her a success. She DOES owe us so long as she continues to sell music, merch, tours, etc. If fun promo wouldn't do anything for you, great. She has millions of followers, I’m sure social issues are more important to her currently than an album. I’m sure she’ll promote again in a few weeks. and from a marketing standpoint, speaking out on social issues will give her better name recognition in the future which translate to more sales.
