Sour Candy won't even stand a chance of being a 3rd single even though it could be sent to radio. It's just promo singles, to keep the era alive and boost the streams. Nothing will take off on radio after rain on me ends its journey. FT is not going to be played on radio with those screechy screaming vocals for a start, no maam! At least 911 and Alice can get amazing visuals and get a boost on spotify too. All offense, I whole heartedly think that kinda nothing on Chromatica could be a solo hit for Gaga. Sour Candy is the only song that has some sort of steam left (sans Rain on Me), the rest is really just cute album tracks but nothing that could be even be remotely a hit. Thank U, Next Spoiler But thank you for recognizing that 1000 Doves is pretty weak I do think that it has commercial potential but mostly because it lacks the interesting features every other song on Chromatica has. FW would be better for radio but it wouldnt make up for the streaming Now the album rollout has changed and there is only a chance for 1 more summer single, it'll 100% have to be sour candy. its picked up radio play, sound summery, and has BP on it. Fun Tonight is much more safe following this. It sounds more ballad-like which the GP like from Gaga and its not 'summery' so it would suit September/October. Plus lets not forget that when it was exposed to the GP first week, it was kind of keeping up with FW despite the fact it had almost 0 playlisting and no 'New Music Friday'.
