so sad that people come to this thread to repeat how much of a person she is instead of addressing she's not being paid for the only album she's released.

Literally nobody had done that when you posted this :bye:

the first five replies to the topic talk about anything other than the fact that she's not earning anything from her work

Well, sometimes bad stuff happens to bad people.

so it's fair to deny someone the money they could earn with their creative output just because of sh*t said on social media?

No, didnt say it was fair, just that bad stuff happens to bad people. If she wasnt a nightmare to work with, these kind of things might not happen.

Stuff said on social media? Social media is her connection with the world, the stuff that she says there, describes who she is as a person.

DOJA CAT

I hope she drops her two new albums soon, I’m conflicted cause she just dropped Black Madonna which is meant to be Business & Pleasure’s lead but pinned Treasure Island on Spotify which is from Fantasea II. But to the original topic I hope she gets her right royalties so she can make some earnings $$$

thank u, next

this is the most creative merch ever. (the jockstraps are funny too but AB's soap is the cutest thing ever). Also they are made with natural products for what i remember, they seem to be good quality.

some of you people just need to admit you hate black artists/are hypocrites and love to see them suffer. if this happened to gaga someone could easily say "yeah, well she appropriated dreadlocks, did blackface, and said she isn't a feminist all those years ago. sometimes bad things happen to bad people." don't be ridiculous. this is about rich executives stealing from artists, have some empathy.

Honestly, many stuff she said in previous interviews which were considered problematic about the industry turned out to be actually true... I believe her, she is still really offensive and emotional and could that town down just to not come off as constantly crossing a line but she is not playing with people and I appreciate that.

Oh f off with that bs. This doesnt have anything to do with race and you know it, but you try to pull it off because you have nothing to defend despicable people like this woman.

People like AB or Nicki dont get a free pass to be assholes just because theyre black, there have been plenty of great black artists across history that are some of the most respectable people on the planet. These two, arent on that list, not even close. They are a disgrace.

It would still happen. The industry is sleezy and execs don’t care whether or not you’re a good person or not. Bowie’s early label (I think, RKO?) did something similar to him, WB was forcing Prince to do work he didn’t want after swindling him which is why he became “The Artist Formerly Known As”. The list goes on. I’d wager that, given what we know about Azealia, this is actually more about the fact that she probably stood her ground on things she found problematic in the industry and execs don’t like *that*.

I genuinely doubt it has anything to do with the morality of her character.
