June 13th: Jagged Little Pill Celebrates 25 Years!

The iconic album Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette was released 25 years ago! The first album I ever bought! 

Alanis in 1995-96 was basically Gaga level game (2009-2011). 
 

it’s sad, Alanis was set to do a 25th Anniversary tour this year, but obviously Ms. Rona had something to say about that.

Jagged Little Pill is literally my favorite album of all time. It's an absolute masterpiece and I am so sad because I had tickets to her Anniversary tour this summer. 💔

But I'm really happy we have the Broadway musical. It too is an incredible work of art.

We had this CD at my house when I was a kid. Definitely has some great songs!

I always preferred the less aggressive follow-up album though honestly, Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie.

It was! I'm still looking forward to it, but I'm terrified that it will somehow be ultimately cancelled due to the virus.

Made her a household name and musical LEGEND. 
This album inspired SO MANY artists it’s unreal

One of the best albums ever released. I always have phases where I replay it daily over and over again. Perfect is one of her best songs, and it’s so relatable. She is way ahead of her time, and I’m sad I’m not going to be able to see her live for the anniversary tour.
