Guys don't think too much into it. They're a small Indie band that found themselves in a chart battle with one of the biggest artists in the world. 

They're complete unknowns trying to make a name for themselves with their debut album so them saying a few cheeky and possibly offensive things isn't a big deal.

Yes publicly they said that after it was announced but this week they've been pushing and pushing to be number one and said a few shady things to get more buzz about them. It's all fine though. We won

Meh, their indie rock sound has a messy quality to it... listening to Deep Down Happy now...  Sports Team is giving me a headache... The singing and the music don't go well together, in fact if the singer was muted, it would be more tolerable.
