Well, I think you could've said something a lot kinder (and more constructive) than "Oh it's very ugly thanks for the heads up". Having an opinion isn't the problem, it's just the wording. It comes off as very nasty, and there's already enough toxicity on this website... I'm not going to sugarcoat my opinion on some merchandise just because someone may get offended that I don't like it ... If you like it that's great. I love most of it, just not the new stuff.
