HBO Max has released the first trailer for “Legendary,” a new competition reality show in which house teams from the real underground ballroom community compete to achieve “legendary” status. The unscripted series arrives with just nine episodes, which from the looks of this trailer will be jam-packed with characters, looks, and amazing dance moves, and has already garnered buzz for tapping chart-topping rapper Megan Thee Stallion as a judge. “The Good Place” star Jameela Jamil will also serve on the judges’ panel, along with Law Roach and Leiomy Maldonado. There have already been 3 episodes. There is also a guest judge every week. The latest episode had none other than Dominique Jackson as the guest judge. I love Drag Race but Legendary and Dracula have been really interesting to watch and see a more inclusive approach to this type of show and get some new perspectives. Shame Legendary won't be as popular as Drag Race. I thought that it will have some impact, but no one on social media is currently talking about it (which is understandable because of the current situation, but would still like to see some love) Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams. phantasmas 10,120 Posted June 12, 2020 Share Posted June 12, 2020 I really dislike Megan and Jameela as main judges and think they should be replaced with actual ballroom legends (and Nico Tortuga or whatever as a guest judge.. really?? ) the episode with Dominique had me gagging Elektra really came out during the judging anyway, I really enjoy the show and hope it runs for several seasons Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
