Someone else having it worse than you doesn't invalidate one's feelings though. Her feelings are still valid. A concern (and pressure) in her line of business is the success of the music. It can also impact funding for projects. And on top of that, when she was making this music she could have felt like it was worthy of such recognition. Just like people look for the approval of their parents. Is it the most important thing in the world? No, but it's nice to have.

She takes charge of the role typically allocated to a man. Women in society are expected to pleasure their man and that's their reward. In this instance, Beyoncé rewards the man rather than the other way around. She's reversing gender roles.

Feelings being valid when speaking about Grammys doesn't really matter, though. Grammys are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Not winning a Grammy won't stop funding for her projects. She's won at least 1 Grammy for every studio album of hers, including her duet album with Jay which didn't even do that well. That's your work getting recognised. Try being an artist where your entire album doesn't even gain a nomination.

Not winning a Grammy can affect funding and project releases. Just as chart positioning can. Winning a Grammy can also get someone a second push of promo. Maybe not in her case specifically, but in general. You say Grammys are meaningless in what seems to be an effort to discredit her feelings (though this is just the way it reads and I could be wrong) but then say "try being an artist where your entire album doesn't even gain a nomination". Together those two statements don't make sense.
