Kinda wish I was from NZ right now :selena: This freaking virus gives me so much anxiety and fear, I’m very paranoid.

NZ is in my travel-to list, it’s kinda expensive tho, taking advantage of this thread, could anybody give me advices, I wanna go maybe mid next year?, I’m wanna go to Auckland, and maybe some nearby landscapes, but mainly the city. Any NZ queen that could give me an advice?

I hope they open the borders between Australia and New Zealand cause I really want a holiday. :enigma:

I am so unbelievably jealous.
I was heavily considering New Zealand or Australia for an exchange year for university in a couple years, and this tipped me over to the Kiwi side for sure.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Purely from a geographic/landscape perspective the North Island is cute but the South Island is on another level. Like out-of-this-world beautiful. Flying to Christchurch (main SI city) from Auckland is pretty affordable and it’s pretty quick to get around by road to do whale watching, hot springs, etc. Queenstown is also in the South Island which is post-card perfect. You can fly directly to Queenstown from Christchurch or Auckland too.

In the North Island, Rotorua is good for NZ culture and adventure tourism. Mountain biking is pretty big there too. The Coromandel Peninsular is quite close to Auckland and has classic-kiwi townships and amazing landscapes + beaches. It all depends on what you want to see and do + what you have time for.

We’d love to have you! (when we open back up again )

y'all get to listen to album earlier and ended miss rona? let move there real quick

And no snakes! It is a utopia.

But for real New Zealanders, better keep your borders restricted to people from places that have contained the virus like Taiwan, Hawai'i, etc. and definitely don't let any Americans in. (I'm an American, and it pains me to say this, but it's the truth.)

Edited to add: Of course Hawai'i is part of the US – don't let any mainland Americans in.

@Helxig you won:legend:

We sure did :bradley:

We're completely back to normal next week and shouldn't have a second peak unless someone brings it from overseas. I am incredibly grateful to be living where I am!

On top of that they paid me a liveable wage during the whole lockdown, so I didn't lose any money, and I've been back at work for 3 weeks already. I feel so lucky.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Being a small island nation at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean with water borders helps too obvs. I know there are some kiwi monsters on here so we can celebrate by dancing to ROM in the club soon enough.

UPDATE: NZ is moving to Level 1 on Monday 11:59pm NZST

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/418524/prime-minister-jacinda-ardern-reveals-move-to-level-1-from-midnight

Thank you Queen Jacinda for acting swiftly and with compassion for all of our residents! We are truly so lucky and I am so grateful :tony:

Also If I enjoyed going to clubs more I'd be celebrating to ROM for sure :woohoo:  maybe I'll have to make a trip to Auckland considering we don't have any gay clubs here :bradley:  And the straight clubs here are... :awkney:

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Amazing! But still to early to go to any level imo. Just give it a week at least...? Idk tho cuz in my country we didn't go into lockdown we just closed schools, bars, public spaces and we were asked to stay home.

Today here in Uruguay was the first day with 0 new cases and we have now 92 active cases, 4 in ICU. But we went from 7 states with active cases to 11, so there's caution and the primary and high school are opened... :cryga:

You'll be okay my friend! It's not a nice way to live, but just remember to be super-cautious about what you touch, don't touch your face, wash your hands often. You and your country will also get through it in time. Try not to let yourself get too anxious and caught up in thoughts of fear

A dream.

A literal dream for a Filipino. We're already opening up businesses without mass testing. Land of the incompetent and corrupt. :koons:

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
