She never called it a mess or a bad album in the first album. I loved it straight away, but I agree that some of the songs get so much better the more u listen to them (ie. Sour candy, Fun tonight, plastic doll for me anyways)! WE LOVE HA AGAIN lol! I listen to it when I'm having trouble sleeping, because slow and peaceful music just annoys me more when I try to sleep. It is a thoughtful masterpiece. Exactly!  I was still at work when it was released so I waited until I got home to listen, and I had high expectations.  I ended up getting cross faded before listening (which obviously wasn’t a good idea haha)  and I was just not really feeling the album at the time!  I felt like the album overused the same/similar vocal effects and beat drops, or lack thereof in some songs.  When I put on my headphones, that’s when I started to like the album a little more, but still wasn’t feeling it as much.  It wasn’t until the following morning where I blasted it on my HomePod where I truly appreciated the album and the masterpiece that it is! Even one of my coworkers who’s heavily into techno/edm/house music & doesn’t like Gaga didn’t like the album. I told her to put aside her dislike for Gaga, open her mind to pop music and to just listen to the lyrics and instrumentals, drink a few white claws, and that’s when she started digging the album!  It was a grower for her and I, and we’re both bopping to it Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
