Babylon (album version) is catchier and better than Babylon (hauslab version)

The fact this is an unpopular opinion:bradley::noparty:

I was so shooketh when I came to GGD after I listened to Chromatica and saw that people didn't like Enigma and Replay!

I mean... did they listen to the same song as I did? Did they heard the VOCALS??

Replay is my least favorite (still a good song though)

The post-chorus drops with 1 word repeated over and over again (or simply just a drop with music only) are a little repetitive (it's in SL, ROM, FW, Enigma, Replay, Sine and 1000 Doves - a little too often)

All the songs are too short (particularly Alice, no second verse?? You kidding me??)

And this last one shouldn't be unpopular, but I guess it is (sadly), that Fun Tonight is the best song on the album

As much as I enjoy this album from start to finish, I keep thinking about the Paper Magazine shoot, the album cover and how the whole Chromatica concept has potential for this album to be darker than it is. I loooove the 90's house sound and yes I'm so happy with the songs we got but the whole imagery of it pointed this to be something like Government Hooker, Heavy Metal Lover type of industrial techno album and sounds like they went super safe with it, especially the under 3 minute length. For someone like Gaga who started her career with songs like Bad Romance, Judas, Scheiße, Marry The Night, etc. this is a little bit "tamed" if I can say that.

Babylon (HL Version) > Babylon (Album Version)

Now stay mad :vegas:

I'm okay whit that. Everyone has different taste:oops:

That's what makes music such an awesome experience

Alice ends too quickly and keeps it from being a stand out track imo. Also I would rather Chromatica I lead into Stupid Love as teased in the SL video preview.

Enigma and Replay, while not “unique” as sounds they are great tracks and very Euro.

Sine from Above could have benefited from a bridge and a more subtle ending

Plastic Doll is better than Sour Candy

Free Woman is definitely single material

It isn't that great of an album, which I get is very unpopular on a Gaga stan site. But none of the songs were particular standouts, like, I'd listen to most of them but not go out of my way to do so:wtfga:

'The Life of a Showgirl' is out on Oct 3

Stupid Love should not have been released as the lead

Alice or ROM should have been the lead single

Babylon is not the correct version on the album...Haus Labs is

Sour Candy is Donatella 2.0 and very lazy and for such a unique collab it feels she wasted an amazing opportunity to do a great KPOP inspired song

Free Woman doesn't "go" anywhere interesting...

Plastic Doll is top tier. One of my favorites on the album.

Rain on me is one of my least favorites on the album. I like it but I like almost every other song more.

The album version of Babylon is better than the Haus Labs version.

Makes me wonder how the Dua Lipa/BLACKPINK song sounds like :saladga:

The most important unpopular opinion is that it’s the first time we can’t decide or agree on which is the best song of the album... like I personally change my whole view on certain songs just everyday and I have feeling that i‘m not the only one here

yesterday 911 was a skip for me and today I can’t get enough of hearing this sickening beat and robotic voice with these deep ass lyrics
