Babylon is one of the worst songs she’s released

Rain on Me is the strongest track on the album.

1000 Doves is amazing including the Piano version.

Alice is overrated.

the album could have used a ballad.

chromatica is 100% Bloodpop’s concept and is inspired by HANA :neyde:

she needs to dump Bloodpop ASAP.

Agree with this 100%.

Also, I genuinely enjoy Sour Candy - I don't think it's the best song, but it's a catchy and great song.

I personally like the lengths of the songs! I don't miss longer tracks at all.

It’s the only album of hers where I don’t feel she’s that personal on it

How though? Every single song except SL is personal, she literally sings openly about her antidepressants, her fibromyalgia condition, her insecurities, the gossip around her persona, being a doll in the industry and many other personal issues she suffers from

It's on the deluxe edition along with the 1000 Doves piano demo and SL remix

Poltergeist

- Many songs' verses are better than their choruses (Alice, Stupid Love, Free Woman, Sour Candy)

- Alice's chorus seems to be very forced and a bit irritating, I doubt she'll ever even try to sing that live

- Free Woman is uber boring

- Plastic doll is a huge regress both lyrically and sonically

- Sour Candy is everything but fresh

- The transition between Chroma II and 911 is cool right, but I don't get the HUGE amount of excitement about it

- Replay is overally a mess, and the only things that got this song to my top 5 are the drop and last chorus

- Again about Replay, I feel extra cringy while listening to the first verse 'Am I still alive, where am I, I cry', it feels like it's written just to rhyme

- Enigma's very underrated, this track serves some amazing vocals, probably best on the album

Also I've got a feeling that she's forcicng herself very much to be more of Gaga than of a Lady. I'm really thankful that this album is really for us, but she seems a little bit not in her pair of shoes with this image, and I hope she is and will be psychically fine with that

And at last, to wipe away some of the negativity I've spread writing this, I really love the album, it is a huge grower, and I think it's my third favorite after ARTPOP and Born This Way

I've been getting messages from my deep waters

Thats stupid Luv

I don’t like to be a killjoy but 911 is my least favourite gaga song of all time (even like it less than J&D and Hey girl), but I notice everybody seems to love it , I dunno what it is that just isn’t clicking but 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

ARTPOP is a far superior album.

Plastic Doll is the worst song with one of the longest track lengths and sounds like a KP song. Sour Candy is much better and criminally shorter.

The production on Replay is really bad. Replay would sound better if the track were akin to Monster or Bloody Mary.

Sine From Above is one of the standout songs which is very disturbing considering it wasn’t even intended for this album and was made years ago.

911 starts so strong but the chorus is mediocre.

The lyrics across the album are not up to par with her previous work.

Guest WhoDoWeHaveHere

the biggest let down of the album are the lyrical and melody structures of the verses.
Nothing like "I wan't you ugly, I wan't you desease" or "Hello, hello Baby, you called I can't hear a thing" or "we are the crowd, we're co-coming out". Those songs are instantly recognizable within the first seconds. When I listen to chrmoatica on shuffle I sometimes struggle to know which song is playling till the pre-chorus sets in.
Oh and 911 has the BEST chorus she has written in years

Italian

911 has an underwhelming chorus compared with the pre-chorus

Plastic Doll drags on and needs trimming

The album needs more sax throughout

Enigma and Replay are some of the most unique tracks she's ever done

1000 Doves is underrated and is one of the few songs that realises its full potential (meaning that many other amazing songs could have been longer)

I doubt Haus Labs Babylon is going to be better than the album version (still would love to hear it)
