New (old) Album Club

Hi.

I'm older than alot here but not by a huge amount, I'm 32. I thought it might be cool to revisit an album from the 90s or early 2000s that may have been forgotten  or you may never have heard of, and you can probably hear familiarities in Gaga's music too.

Essentially we get to discover old music that's new to our ears for the first time together and discuss it.

I expect this thread to flop though.

Let me know if you'd be into it.

Bye :selena:

I love the idea, I'm in! I love sharing/discovering new music :excited:

Spoiler

Although we know people prefer to click in threads like: Worst single ever? And that type of threads :billie:

But I'm still in

@Faysalaaa alot of those are on my list to do, but I've got some less known ones (to this forum, I suspect) also, such as eternal, samantha Mumba, billie piper, b*witched, and a bunch of others :staymad: adding Joss Stone  to the album list though.

Also No Doubt are my favourite band of all time so props for including ha

@alicefromabove @ice bear @darkchylde I'm not sure how to structure this, maybe post one album per week, go from there?

My childhood music was mostly Britney Spears, but I did not mention her as we all know her discography

Pretty much, also I missed the Desree song you put up which has the BEST line ever from a song "I'd rather have a piece of toast and watch the evening news" what a piece of art :laughga: I love the 90s

Maybe I can suggest, if you want of course, to go even further and explore music from the 80's, 70's and even 60's. And then back to 2000's, 2010's.

It would be interesting as well :ally:

Maybe we can do best songs from every decade

I think I might do something to start like the failed follow ups to massive albums. Itd be interesting to see if they're actually trash or undeserving of their failure.
