The bunnies quickly took a shine to Bailey, never seeming to fear him. According to Bailey’s owner, the bunnies have adopted Bailey as their dad. Watching the video, you can see how the bunnies seem to scooch closer to Bailey, seeking the warmth of his fur. Bailey didn’t seem to mind either, as he just lays there as the bunnies hop all around him. It is nice to see two different types of animals accepting each other so well. Social creatures by nature, dogs are known for their tendency to make friends with both humans and other animals. In essence, it is a part of their pack mentality that allows a dog to befriend others so easily. With an emotional capacity similar to that of a two-year-old human child, dogs have a basic level of empathy and tend to be supportive of other animals. After posting the video on Bailey’s YouTube channel, it ended up getting over 7.5 million views and has been liked over 222,000 times.
