I think she still could have used her speech/performance to encourage the Class of 2020 to use our knowledge and skills to improve the world and fight the systems of oppression, but I guess I don't know her reasoning and situation. I mean she delayed her entire album rollout to help with covid, i wouldnt be surprised if she canceled an online graduation for what's happening in America too. For all we know she may have a really good reason for pulling out...or perhaps she isn't even pulling out and that list may be wrong (unlikely I know...but still). At the end of the day she gets to choose where and when she performs and I guess this did not feel right for whatever reason. Could be because of the social unrest making her feel drained, could be her physical or mental health etc...Please go a little easy on her. As strong as Gaga is she is also a VERY sensitive human. She's not your parent. She is a human. She has her own plans. Unless you are her speed dial contact, think about why things are the way they are. The self-serving needs to chill out.
