FfFfFfFF 58,058 Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 The Caballero family were on a regular walk around their neighborhood in Tempe, Arizona with their terrier, Olive, when something astounding happened. A stranded baby fox began following the family around the neighborhood. Apparently, the critter mistook the family's terrier for her mother. Unsure of how best to help the poor little fox, the Caballero family contacted Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center. The Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, established in 1994, rehabilitates "native wild animals that are found injured, orphaned, or abandoned", according to its website. The fox was about 20 centimeters in length (for reference, she could fit in the palms of your hands) and had a coat of varying shades of gray. They later found out that she was just 6 weeks old at that point. In response to someone asking if Foxy will one day be able to be released, the centre responded, "Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate and release all wildlife that come through our doors.
