This is what I’m saying.

It’s meant to be a ballad, the production sounds so forced and inauthentic. Especially the basic chorus beat drop. It doesn’t offer as much to the table as other songs.

Her backing vocals and overall vocal delivery is better on the album version than the piano literally, the way she lowers the notes in the chorus to make it sound different in piano version, doesn't do it for me, all of this + the production just gives a better feeling. People should stop dragging this song when its actually great

Dance in the dark is the least streamed track of TFM since it's the only track that isn't on the "this is lady gaga" playlist along with Monster. Monster still gain alot of streams since it's become a halloween classic

I think the "official" version was originally the piano one. But it didn't fit the theme of the album so they released it as a bonus track. I have a feeling she is gonna perform it in the piano when the tour begins. 

By the way, am I the only one who still didn't listen to Love Me Right + 1000 Grammys (Oscar version)?  Waiting for them to be officially released on streaming platforms!

The vocal delivery on the album version is more polished, but I still prefer the raw version. Piano version makes me wanna get drunk and cry alone, the album version makes me wanna cry in the club.
