If that was the case Ms Kacey Musgraves should have hers confiscated. Lana’s “forum/pitchfork” album out streamed it and will cross the 1B mark despite not being an AOTY winner and being released more than a year later. Let’s see how many of those albums Ms Musgraves can get.

The other half of her music (the one that is not her edgy/aggressive music) is totally inspired by Lana. Intentionally or unintentionally, but it’s a fact. Ocean eyes, lovely, wish you were gay, I love you, idontwannabeyouanymore, have this sound that Lana made popular last decade.

I’m not 100% acquainted with Billie’s discography but when I first heard NTTD I couldn’t help but think of Young and Beautiful. That one literally screams Lana.

Um Golden Hour itself is approaching its 100th week on the Billboard 200 and has sold approximately 800,000 units in the US and heading steadily to Platinum with no radio hits, let alone a #1 radio hit like NFR had. I don't think NFR has even scanned 400k units in the US.

But they're not comparable. Golden Hour had acclaim and great sales.

If you like Lana, you should listen to those songs I wrote. Specially idontwannabeyouanymore. That’s her most Lana sounding track imo (and my favorite of hers ).

Simon's numbers are really weird this week. He has Savage with a comfortable #1 lead and even if it's #1, the lead shouldn't be big.
