Does Spotify web interface show the numbers? If so, use that. You can even do Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+F5 on that to force refresh which you can't on the app. The app caches pages and doesn't reload when needed every time.

songs help each other in streaming era - a new song going on TTHs with Grande and Blackpink isn't going to take streams off ROM, it only creates cross interest imo 

Blinks not having music from their faves for a long time contributed to their thirst for SC. And I dont mean they will completely drop ROM nor SC but obviously they won't stream it as often as they did the first few days

I don't put any words in any mouth. It's you who kept stating "their data is misleading" when it was already established we as ordinary users have just the total number of streams + SpotifyCharts when Spotify itself as a business has plenty of data in addition to justify those songs positions on the playlists. This is not YouTube when we can claim bots, payola or whatever.

If you kept saying "their data is misleading" despite the evidences, one could legitimately think your point is to tear those songs performances down or something. But now we got this covered I guess.

I stated it once. 

I never claimed payola.

One could, but one shouldn't.

The data can be misleading, not all data interpretations are correct and not all data is reliable enough to predict future returns. I don't claim to have more data, but the data being misleading is not a baseless opinion, nor is it a factually incorrect one.

I have to ask - do we know for sure that Spotify does NOT do payola? I remember reading articles that say that anti-payola laws govern radio and airplay but since streaming is relatively new, it hasn't been extensively legislated on and that you can pretty easily buy playlist spots. So two things: 1. Do we know if Spotify doesn't do payola? 2. Do we know if it doesn't specifically for TTH?

I have no faves or stakes here other than Gaga, just trying to understand.

She hasn't gotten a radio #1 since TEOG here, so she's not doing it effortlessly

But Stupid Love was a #1 for three weeks and ROM is #22 on radio trends hence why I'm very positive

Correct to first part 

But in two weeks time SC will either be stable in a healthy range or below 1m daily I guess, plus the discounts from midday to charts get less and less each day - it'll be 3% soon so I think wbu new song will only help SC at this point, especially when BP get the cover on a big playlist
