So true. And sidebar, but in my mind these are artists of three totally different genres of music. Sure, they're all under a "Pop" umbrella and have all done crossover into other subgenres, but Bey is HipHop R&B pop, Taylor is Country Pop Alternative, and Gaga is Dance Pop. To me they have totally different fanbases and purposes in the Pop music sphere and comparisons like that are both obnoxious and damaging to the breadth of the genre.
