True, but I feel like every single one of her eras feels like this. I remember in 2012 looking at Gaga with the big black eyeliner and huge horns on the side of her face and thinking, wow, she's so different from when she started. And even comparing ARTPOP to Born This Way is a huge difference. 

I think ARTPOP was the official split in the "old Gaga" versus the "new Gaga" though, Idk after ARTPOP she just never seemed to have the same passion as the early days, her passion is still there but she channels it much differently.

I just watched this video and wow 

This is so good and shows the progression and change of her voice and personas and everything 

and when the ASIB era hit, I truly felt something. 

Lady Gaga is truly something different from all the other pop stars out there. She’s grown so much from her early days and it’s amazing.

You guys should calm down with your super hero capes. The OP wasn't negative at all, it just stated that Gaga had changed a lot, which is true. No need to harass someone for saying that. 

I think she does look like a completely different person now and that's because she somehow is. The fame, the traumas and everything that comes with it change people

Had Gaga not changed (which is just maturing) she 1) would not be alive (first and foremost, of course) and 2) would not be scoring #1 songs and albums so far into her career. If Gaga had stayed the 'same' since ARTPOP (which would be damaging, anyway... since she was clearly unwell) - she would no longer have the career, status and success she is still achieving now. 

Everyone is entitled to nostalgia, though, of course. It's just important to remember that, when looking back, had things not changed, 'we' (as a fan community) and Gaga (as an artist) would not exist in the way we do now. Above all, Gaga herself might not be with us at all.
