Mark produced the final version from scratch though right? Or are you saying Mark is credited as a producer on the acoustic version too?

His footprint is barely on the song so while Gaga probably credited him since he was involved at some point before the feud, it doesn't seem like they actually worked together on it like they did for Angel Down. At least on Angel Down he has full production credit on the demo and is billed as 2nd writer of 2 in the final version. I mean, I don't have a chronological knowledge of their feuds and apologies, I'm just telling you the facts from album credits we have. I thought whatever issue they had was assumed to have occurred with Joanne, when she scrapped most of their work together and allegedly refused to release Frankenstein, which drove RedOne crazy - this is hearsay, I don't know if it's the truth or complete fantasy. What I'm also seeing is Chromatica is her first album with no RedOne involvement whatsoever, which may, or may not, be an indicator of the current state of their relationship. Cookie Tookie 10,546
I don’t believe a single thing about Fernando Garibay in regards to a falling out or drama between them. Nothing has ever been confirmed or said by any parties. He had nothing but good things to say in a recent interview I watched. In regards to RedOne, I think he’s brilliant. They know how to work extremely well together and create timeless songs (JD, PF, BR, Alejandro, Scheiße). The only issue I can assume is that he might be more dominant in the studio and wants the songs to sound his way, instead of allowing Gaga to fully takeover the direction. Idk. Just speculating. My understanding is the writer credit includes both the writing of lyrics and melodies, and the producer is basically the person that engineers the music. RedOne had no involvement in the engineering of the album version of Angel Down - he has his writing credit, Mark Ronson doesn't, so I don't know what he's bitching about. He can’t seem to evolve his production style like Max Martin/Dr L*Ke. The lyrics and the theme were kinda meh, but i thought the production was alright . I disagree about the evolution thing tho, RedOne has worked with a lot of afro-trap, dancehall and rap artists in the last few years, and those songs sounded nothing like the Ava Max track, so he can definitely adapt his sound to the artist he's working with. This is some of his latest work :

The production quality is so superb on this album that I kinda regret that she had to record TFM+BTW on her tour bus. Replay, for one, is very TFM to me. But it doesn't feel like she's trying hard to reclaim the spark she had during her initial peak. It just comes off effortless. It encapsulates that GAGA energy throughout the record. I truly stan And it goes on to show some RedOnesters that she doesn't need RedOne at all to create that I must add that it was probably RedOne who introduced her to Euro-style synth pop which is very consistently present on Chromatica so he still gets some credit Totally, it's an exciting piece of work, very entertaining. I think i like it more than her two previous albums

Also, the position of writing credits really doesn't say much... Kevin Parker is credited as the 4th and last writer on Perfect Illusion, and we all know it was originally a demo of his that was reworked, sooo... Kinda the same with Come to Mama that was basically a Father John Misty demo, and Gaga is still credited as the first writer.

That's what I meant, by from scratch I mean he completely reworked the album version so if there are no elements of Redone's production in that track then I think it's fair for him not to get credited as a producer for it since he didn't produce any of the final sounds. They re-recorded her vocals too, I prefer her vocals in the Redone worktape.
