if only radio counted in Germany where SL has been a 5 week #1 airplay smash yet left the chart after 6 weeks its #1 on Airplay and re entered German charts thanks to ROM at #99 today.

Anyway stupid love got hers today looking at those AM peaks

Well, I'd say that french radios are about playing singles (talking about main pop / pop-rock stations), I've never heard full albums being played

You could argue counting radio is highkey corrupt 

It's giving chart points whether the audience listen or not - it but it does help singles in Can/America have longevity, especially artists who only have digital sales to go on and they're now dead

I think it should. Radio still plays based on demand it's not completely random and it's exposing a large share of the population to it

 

And it's not like 1 radio AI counts anywhere near a stream (much less a sale) where people purposely seek it out

 

1 stream for example still counts several times more than 1 AI

 

So I think it's perfectly reasonable. It's a major source of listens but counted significantly weaker since it's not directly seeked by the public
