She has to do a few more critically acclaimed movies before she's of the same level as Cher and Streisand. Hopefully she'll get an Oscar for acting, fingers crossed. But I can imagine after a decade she'll be a very respected legend in the entertainment industry. If she ever wants to venture into Broadway and does extremely well, she'll be regarded as one of the greats.

Not to mention that Cher and Streisand are more universally liked and less polarising than Madonna. 

Gaga has come a long way. The world loves her again.
