Easily the best album she's released since Born This Way, and quite possibly better than everything that's come before it in her discography. This is really good. Cause that for me ruins the experience its just my preference tho i understand you But if we look at TFM for example you can go from Bad Romance - Alejandro - Speechless - Teeth all in the same album and they sound great together even though they are different sub genres. ARTPOP did that well as well. I love it when an album switches up the sub-genre kinda drastically but is still somewhat connected. I also understand that Chromatica is super inspired by a certain time-period and I appreciate and am happy that some monsters love it enough to consider it her best. It's perfect tbh. same. I *LOVE* Born This Way but I think it's going to take 2nd place from now on. Chromatica is more concise and more decidedly personal and emotional. Born This Way has big feelings and big ideas and big highs, but also stumbles here and there, and is a little too long. Not to bring up inevitable comparisons to Madge...but, this feels like her Confessions on a Dance Floor moment.
