Shan Shan 49
5/10 It's not a bad album, but comparing it to her past works half of the album is filler material and the rest are just boba shop/H&M/Zara/Topshop store soundtracks. Very disappointed.

AncientCityStyle 4
My thoughts on the album At this stage I gave it 8/10, but I feel like my rating will change over time once I’ve processed all the songs properly. My only gripe is that I wish the interludes were added as intro’s to the songs they come before instead of being stand alone tracks. Alice - 9/10 Really strong opening track and great transition from the opening interlude. Love the theme of the song. Stupid Love - 7/10 Liked the song when it was first released, but it’s easily one of the weakest songs on the album for me. Rain On Me - 8/10 Still loving this one, but since I’ve listened so many times my attention is on the other songs. The drop still hits hard though! Free Woman - 8/10 Although I did listen to the demo leak and enjoyed it, I still enjoy the album version as it’s own thing. Although the electric devotion lyric being cut is devastating! That line was iconic. Fun Tonight - 8/10 Lyrically a really strong song. Easily relatable, after hearing her description and connection to the song makes it all the more emotional. Love the throw back to Paparazzi and The Fame. 911 - 7/10 Transition was fire! Has such potential with the meaning and beat, Verses are strong but the chorus kind of kills it for me. It’s just a bit too repetitive and slightly cringey at parts. Just sounds a bit off. Plastic Doll - 7/10 Didn’t connect to this song as much as the others. Again found it slightly cringe at times lyrically. Hoping it will grow on me over time though. Sour Candy - 8/10 I actually really enjoy that this song has no massive drop. It’s a very fun catchy song and BLACKPINK sound surprising great alongside Gaga. My only problem is it is too short. Enigma - 8/10 This song is growing on me with each play. Really strong vocals! Reminds me of so many different house songs. Replay - 9/10 Easily one of my favourites on the album. For me this song stands out amongst the rest as it has such a different vibe. Slightly more disco/house feel. Sine from Above - 9/10 Was pleasantly surprised at how well the collab with Elton sounded. That second drop hits so hard I was blown away. Still processing the last 30 seconds of the song though, took me by surprise. 1000 Doves - 8/10 I actually really enjoy this song. However the placement of it on the album feels out of place, by this point it does sound very similar to some of the others. Babylon - 10/10 My current favourite! As a big fan of the Haus Labs instrumental and very excited to hear it in full, I thought I would be disappointed when I heard it had changed. But was actually blown away by how good it sounds. This is the kind of song that Gaga does so well, the attitude in her voice is so good. The beat is also different from the rest of the album and stands out. Butters Stotch 5,364
This is easily her best, or her second best album. It's only competition is BTW. She really outdid herself, her voice sounds incredible. Lyrically it's soooooooo deep, yet simple. It's pretty personal too. Ugh, I'm my second listen and I just, ugh FIND YOUR FREEDOM IN THE MUSIC
Just A Holy Fool 2,550
Guys I am not even all the way through and I think this is her best work to date. I’m crying. 10/
Tonymel 100
Alice: 9/10 SL: 7/10 Rain on Me: 8.5/10 Free woman: 7.5/10 demo is much better but still not bad! Fun Tonight: 8/10 911: 100000/10 Plastic Doll: 7/10 Sour Candy: 6.5/10 Enigma: 5/10 Replay: 6/10 Sine From Above: 8/10 Not a fan of the outro but still good! 1000 Doves: 8/10 Babylon: 4/10 horrible. Demo was way better. Extremely disappointed This is probably even more disappointing than the ARTPOP demo and that was a huuuuuuuuuuge disappointment to me when she didn’t release the demo version. I hope this grows on me Some songs will most likely grow on me as that’s usually what happens. I’m pretty pleased though! Album is not as good as TF, TFM, BTW or ARTPOP, but much better than Joanne. migamiga 12,101
I honestly have no idea how i feel about it. It was not what i was expecting so i have to give it another listen. It’s good but i didn’t love it like i thought i would... i understand the house/disco vibe she was going for but i wish she came up wit better melodies for choruses instead of just belting the title. But again i get the vibe so i need to listen again with a different mentality before i can rate it. and unlike most people here i don’t mind the “dated” production. For me the production really carried the album and relies heavily on it (going back to lack of melodies in choruses). Love the cohesiveness and the pacing of the album (for the most part). It does feel kinda repetitive at some parts but then something picks up again. I feel so weird. I was expecting to love this album instantly based off the singles and leaks but now I’m kinda confused
