then we are more doomed :huntyga:

I wouldn't say so. Anything below 75 will ultimately start dropping Chromatica's average. So unless it's 80+, we don't really want it. There is no way Chromatica's gonna fall below 75 now, even if she got a few 50-60's in a row. We want those sexy 80+'s to come in now. LOOKING AT YOU, ALLMUSIC.

I haven't been following the reviews much, but I really think this album is one for the fans. It's so deeply layered with meaning that non-fans might not easily connect to. This record isn't for everyone... it's Gaga's life story. And that's probably why it's my favourite album of hers right now, but I can understand why some of the meaning might get lost in translation for those who are less in tune with Gaga.

For those of us that are, though, this album is so insightful and so beautiful. It's like an autobiography but with some of the best pop music in a decade. It's such a great album, imo.

The reviews for this album are so confusing some reviewers think it’s her best and deepest work while others think it’s weak and not deep enough. Chromatica might be her most controversial album yet. At least with ARTPOP they all pretty much agreed it wasn’t good (not saying ARTPOP is bad I love her)

not at all. ARTPOP was waaaay more controversial. but the thing with gaga is that she will always have mixed reviews. even for the ASIB soundtrack. :sis:

So suddenly critics love ARTPOP? What kind of hypocrisy is this? So will they change the reviews so we can get 90 Metascore for ARTPOP? :huntyga:

Personally I don’t think the controversy came from the album it came more from the era and what she was doing at the time but I also wasn’t a huge Stan then so I have no idea

"Lady Gaga has always been a great singer and pianist, but aside from a few big singles, namely “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face”, I have been mostly indifferent to the her work over her career. In fact Joanne, Gaga’s controversial 2016 record where she (sort of) traded the synths for acoustic pop, was the first whole album of hers I enjoyed, and moreover, wanted to listen to."

If a review starts like this it should.not.count :saladga: This person has no idea who Gaga is, how are they qualified to review it in comparison to her other work. I-
