This happened close to where I’m from (Minneapolis is big) and the police here aren’t the best but this was actually horrific. Multiple times pleading to let him go and he proceeded to dig his knee into his neck. I just have no words to express how haunting it is to watch someone die on camera and for the whole world to witness it.

A man literally had his whole weight on him , he said "i cant breathe" if you say the bystanders  didnt contemplate death then you are kinda excusing the officers too

What could they have done? Attacking a police officer is a crime. They weren't just going to grab the police officer and take him off the man. They could also say the citizens were intervening in an arrest.

Basically the police have all the power and there is nothing they could have done without facing criminal charges or possibly even losing their lives themselves.

He puts on his uniform and suddenly he's a tough guy because he has a badge and a radio. I hope he gets what he deserves and gets retaliated against by a vigilante and ends up in the ground.
