I hope he's charged with murder and not manslaughter, if he's charged at all.

Jesus, I feel sick.

:saladga:

What did the man do? Why was he being arrested? NOT that it justifies what I just witnessed - obviously. But I'm trying to fathom how on earth a human being could do that to another. Jesus.

What could they have done? Attacking a police officer is a crime. They weren't just going to grab the police officer and take him off the man. They could also say the citizens were intervening in an arrest.

Basically the police have all the power and there is nothing they could have done without facing criminal charges or possibly even losing their lives themselves.

I don't know ,it just seems weird to stand by the side and film someone get killed,

Maybe he didn't  die on the spot but if he died  on the spot, you cant tell me that there is nothing the bystanders could have done to prevent this.

Im not taking away the blame from the police tho, they keep abusing thier power.they should  also be prosecuted and  serve the time for manslaughter but that is probably a long shot in america

How these idiots keep getting into these positions of power is beyond me.

I think law enforcement by nature attracts certain personalities. I'm not saying ALL cops are jerks but a very good portion are

I've had a couple bad dealings my self with them, not race related obviously but just bad dealings :neyde:

If he is charged with murder  he will most definitely  walk away a free man. He will definitely be found guilty for manslaughter tho

Any jury that doesn't find him guilty after being informed the man can't breath is insane. I get where you're coming from and I know what place we're talking about, but it's just sad.

Honestly  you have a point ,most of them are unnecessarily inhumane . Makes me believe they actually recruit ex criminals to the police force just like in movies

if they didn't get it on video then even less people would know about this, so many things involving police are only known thanks to it being caught on video including police planting evidence to falsely arrest people.

And there really isn't any legal thing a bystander can do, if you were there what would you do?

This angers me, a lot, I feel like throwing up, I'm not even american, racism in the police force is something that needs to be addressed by the future president and handled

Its too late to say what should  have been done and i appreciate  that he filmed it so the family can use this to seek justice  but it just feels wierd to film someone get killed  for over 10 mins
