I didn't want to offend anybody with my comment.

I was just shocked by how she treated the dog and I was worried the dog might still be with her. Of course her racistic behaviour was disgusting but the man walked out of this safe so it just wasn't the first thing that came to my mind to express.

Sorry if my comment sounded "privileged" or whatever, that wasn't the intention.

Omg I'm screaming, I was talking about this woman and people who act like that not you :air:

I’m not the biggest police stan but oh my god does no one else think responding to such calls is such a waste of time, resources energy for them? Like cops get tired too, and when they’re tired, they could make bad decisions like kneeling on black men’s necks until they die. (see other thread)

Why is everything in America about race? "White woman..." "Black man..." Why not just "A woman..." "A man..." ? :oprah:

because she litterally made it about race when she threatend to call the police and tell them an african american was threatening her.

Oh boi, here we go.

The title of the article 'WHITE/BLACK/ASIAN/GAY/WHATEVER ...' only exacerbates racial/other conflict. It won't help. So just stop with that comment

I understand, love. But also my comment was not specifically directed at you, so it definitely wasn't personal--just more on the sentiment, as well as just an observation of the reactions of people, not just on GGD but on other places too, like twitter.

And you can ease worries thankfully! The dog is no longer with her. It was indeed shocking how she treated the dog, too.

So what do you suggest? Stop talking about these, and privileged people can choke a person of color to death and call police on not white people; just person of colors?

Lady is in the wrong obviously but why would the guy waste his time taking this on video? So he could "expose" her for being a bad person and we can all laugh about it online? :neyde: Like idk, just have ur little discussion and move on no? What's the point of all this?

It's enough to write 'Woman, Lady, Girl'.  And I'm talking about every article / video not only about this one

Ouf, what a bigoted statement

the woman in the video made it about race as soon as she used her privilege against a black man to try to get him in trouble by the police under a law enforcement system that is unjust to black Americans.
to address these systemic issues means that headlines and reports need to tell it as it is and galvanize public action for change

I guess you so simply dismissing the issue says a lot about your sense of privilege than anything else

You are gross, telling things about me that are not true. Fight evil with evil? It will never work. If someone is behaving tragically... and she just behaved that does not mean that we have to get to her (low) level.
