Chromatica should be a visual album

I think it already is.

But I dont think they'll roll it out as visual from the start. Why bother when the visuals can be used to maintain interest?

I think the idea all along was probably to start the era with ROM and then release a new video every now and then to continue some sort of non linear story arc.

Thst could be a great way to draw the album interest out over perhaps a full 12 months. Maybe longer.

I also think the mini stadium tour was going to be set in the world of chromatica, playing just the album from start to finish. That's why theres interludes.

Hopefully next year the tour is still lined up!

Edit.

Remember, even with social distancing and lockdown, computer tech is amazing these days. Fly out a couple of drones for long sweeping shots as she performs on a green screen that's HUGE on her land. Put her wherever she wants.

The thing is.. gaga has a budget to make all these videos. Not sure why she just doesn’t film all videos at once.

I dunno how to feel about this idea honestly. I feel like visual albums feel like a handful sometimes, especially when they're released all at once. I'm thinking of Beyonce's self titled and Lemonade.

Part of a Gaga era experience is anticipating new music videos in-between months and just enjoying them. But I feel like Gaga should try it once for a future era imo.

I kept saying this, we deserved a visual album for two eras now.

It's like we're pretending A Star Is Born wasn't a blockbuster hit :lana:

Spoiler

jk but I agree, ARTPOP would have been the perfect opportunity to showcase the many styles of each track :bradley: I don't know how I would feel about Joanne being a visual album, the budget was clearly reduced to what was barely enough to get by, so it would have been a lost cause for that album. I'm just glad "John Wayne" snapped the way it did, but if they would have stretched the budget for that song across the other songs, we would have just had 11 "Million Reasons" videos :lana: Chromatica is another perfect opportunity but this pandemic has pretty much cancelled everything that would have been. It's obvious this was going to be a high-budget era based on the two music videos alone :madge:

We technically got a visual story with Perfect Illusion, Million Reasons, and John Wayne all being connected to each other.

People said she was planning 6 music videos in total, but then the super virus happened...

It's slowing down now. She can still make more music videos the rest of the year. It is possible.

I enjoyed the videos all tying into each other!
